Who determines the Professional Fee?
The Professional Fee is fixed by the expert professional based on the specific engagement.
Does the institution need to pre-fund an Expert Engagement?
Yes. The agreed engagement amount is prefunded by the institution before the engagement begins.
Is anything deducted from the expert’s Professional Fee?
No. No MedLynk platform fee is deducted from the expert’s agreed Professional Fee. Any applicable statutory deductions will be handled as required by law.
How does an institution engage an expert?
The institution defines its requirement, identifies a suitable verified expert, agrees the engagement and Professional Fee, and prefunds the agreed amount before the engagement begins.
How are experts paid?
Following completion of the engagement and the applicable approval process, the agreed Professional Fee is released to the expert in accordance with MedLynk’s Payment & Settlement Policy.
