Lynkcare HealthTech Private Ltd (operating as MedLynk) is committed to operating within the full scope of applicable Indian law and sector-specific healthcare regulations. This page summarises our key compliance obligations and how we meet them.
1. Corporate Compliance
Lynkcare HealthTech Private Ltd is a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, and complies with all filing and reporting obligations mandated by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), including annual returns, financial statements, and board resolutions.
We maintain statutory registers, conduct regular board meetings, and file all required e-forms with the Registrar of Companies (RoC), Tamil Nadu.
2. Data Protection
We comply with the following data protection framework in India:

2.1 Grievance Officer
As required under the IT Act and DPDPA, we have appointed a Grievance Officer responsible for handling data-related complaints from users. Complaints must be acknowledged within 5 working days and resolved within 30 days.

3. Healthcare Sector Regulations
As an intermediary in the healthcare staffing sector, MedLynk operates in awareness of the following regulatory bodies and frameworks, without directly providing medical services:

3.1 Clinical Responsibility
MedLynk is a technology intermediary and not a healthcare provider. All clinical decisions and patient care responsibility rest with the Healthcare Provider and the Healthcare Professional engaged for a shift. MedLynk's verification process is a document review exercise — it does not constitute a clinical competency certification.
4. GST & Tax Compliance
MedLynk is registered under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act, 2017 and issues GST-compliant invoices for all platform fee charges.
- GST: applied to the platform fee component only (not on the full shift value)
- Invoicing: Per-shift invoices and monthly consolidated statements issued to Healthcare Providers
- TDS: Where applicable under the Income Tax Act, 1961, MedLynk deducts TDS from Professional payouts and issues TDS certificates as required
- GSTIN: 33AAGCL8537L1Z3 — displayed on all invoices and statements
Healthcare Professionals who exceed the GST registration threshold under applicable law are responsible for their own GST registration and filing obligations. MedLynk provides earnings summaries to assist with this.
5. Intermediary Compliance (IT Act)
MedLynk operates as an intermediary under Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000. We comply with the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, including:
- Publishing and displaying Terms of Service and Privacy Policy prominently
- Providing a user grievance mechanism with a designated Grievance Officer
- Responding to lawful government orders and requests for information
- Not hosting or facilitating unlawful content on the Platform
- Maintaining records for 180 days as required
6. Payment & Financial Compliance
All payment operations comply with:
- RBI regulations: UPI and payment processing conducted through RBI-licenced payment service providers
- Payment Aggregator Guidelines: Our payment partner is compliant with RBI's guidelines on Payment Aggregators and Payment Gateways
- Escrow arrangement: Funds collected from Healthcare Providers are held in a ring-fenced escrow account with a partner bank and released only on settlement; MedLynk does not take ownership of the fees payable to Healthcare Professionals
- PMLA: Anti-money laundering checks applied to payment and escrow transactions as required
